Marine Patrol

The North Miami Police Department, Marine Patrol Unit, enforces maritime laws and ordinances on the waterways of the City of North Miami. They provide high-visibility patrol and also respond to emergencies on the intra-coastal waterways. Marine Patrol officers provide education on boating, ensure all vessels comply with boating regulations, inspect vessels, and deter criminal activity. The North Miami Police Department Marine Patrol Unit works alongside other law enforcement agencies, both local and federal, including Homeland Security and Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission.
