The City of North Miami will host an induction ceremony for North Miami Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed.D., and newly appointed District 4 Councilman Pierre Frantz Charles tonight at 6:00 p.m. Immediately following the ceremony is the People’s Celebration Reception at Joe Celestin Community Center, 1525 NW 135 St, North Miami at, FL 33167, beginning 8:00 p.m.

Why: North Miami City Council appointed Desulme as the Mayor on December 13, 2022, and Pierre Frantz Charles as the Councilman of District Four on January 10, 2023. The induction of both Desulme and Charles will take place this evening.
