Celebrate Women’s History Month in North Miami with a Series of Events Recognizing Contributions of Women

The City of North Miami is proud to celebrate Women’s History Month by honoring the countless achievements and contributions of women throughout history. The city is recognizing the women who have spoken up, organized, and advocated for their rights and who have paved the way for future generations of women. As the city pays tribute to women, residents and visitors alike are encouraged to attend the various events throughout March in honor of Women’s History Month.

The following are FREE Women’s History Month events happening around the City of North Miami:

Get In Gear Community Bike Ride
Saturday, March 11, 2023, 8:00 AM
MOCA Plaza, 770 NW 125 Street, North Miami, FL 33161
The bike ride is a wellness initiative in partnership with North Miami Parks and Recreation Department and North Miami Police Department. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m., and the ride starts at 8:30 AM.

Women’s History Month Reception

The reception is hosted by North Miami Vice Mayor Mary Estimé-Irvin, Councilwoman Kassandra Timothe, MPA, and City Clerk Vanessa Joseph, Esq. in celebrating Women’s History Month.
