Lifted: Precautionary Boil Water Notice for North Miami Keystone Neighborhood North Bayshore Drive from Magnolia Drive to Bayview Lane East to Biscayne Bay
North Miami, FL – January 23, 2022
The precautionary boil water notice that was put in effect for North Miami Keystone Neighborhood North Bayshore Drive from Magnolia Drive to Bayview Lane East to Biscayne Bay following a water main break Friday, January 21, 2022 has been RESCINDED. Upon review of bacteriological tests, North Miami Water Utility, in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Health Department found the results to be satisfactory. The City of North Miami was granted approval to cancel the Precautionary Boil Water Notice.
The 8” pipe was severed during work at approximately 8:45 a.m. Repairs to the damaged pipe section were completed by 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022.
A precautionary boil water notice is standard procedure if water pressure is lost during damage or repair. In this instance, water pressure was lost for a brief period of time during the repair work.
