The COVID-19 walk-up testing site located at Holy Family Catholic Church is moving to a new location in North Miami.
The testing site will now be located at Cagni Park’s parking lot along NE 8TH Ave and 134th Street. The testing site will begin operating Monday, Aug. 17th at 9:00 a.m..
The new testing site will be open 7 days a week, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Individuals ages five and up, with or without symptoms are encouraged to get testing, free of charge. Appointments are not required, but highly recommended. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to be tested.
“Access to testing for COVID-19 is of crucial importance to our diverse community in North Miami,” said Councilwoman Carol Keys, Esq., who represents the district of the new testing site. “Our residents should not let distance prevent them from getting tested. The new site is located center City and accessible to everyone. We must all do our part to stop the spread of this deadly virus and getting tested is the first step.”
Residents can begin scheduling appointments online starting Sun., Aug.16 at 9 a.m., using 311Direct.
