Newest North Miami councilman hosts free family fun event to connect with residents and share resources
March 15, 2023
Gather up loved ones and friendly neighbors this weekend and head to a free outdoor community event hosted by North Miami’s newest councilman, Pierre Frantz Charles, who represents North Miami District 4. The D4 Meet and Greet is Saturday, March 18, 2023, 12PM-4PM, at Clyde Judson Community Center, 12100 NW 16 Ave, North Miami, FL 33167. Residents and visitors alike will have an opportunity to meet the new councilman while enjoying a family-fun experience with music, free food, and kid-friendly activities.
“I am excited to serve the community of District 4,” Councilman Charles said as the newest North Miami councilman who was appointed in January 2023. “I am eager to meet residents and work diligently to earn their trust and confidence for years to come.”
In the midst of having fun, residents can ask questions and share their concerns with Councilman Charles as well as obtain resources from several local organizations. These entities include Extended Hands which provides support to women, children and families and will distribute care packages at the event; Pierre Toussaint Leadership and Learning Center, an entity offering computer classes inclusive of coding; and Fanm Saj which will provide eventgoers with information on women’s wellness.
“This family event is an event that has a greater purpose than having fun,” Councilman Charles shared. “It is an event that will connect people with various resources in the community and provide them with neighborhood-level solutions.”
