The City of North Miami will host La Gran Fiesta: Una Noche Tropical in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month

North Miami, FL – October 21, 2021

To culminate our Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, the City of North Miami will host “La Gran Fiesta: Una Noche Tropical” on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021. The event will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at MOCA Plaza located at 770 NE 125 Street, North Miami, FL 33161.

This year’s signature event will be hosted by Ashley Gaitán. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy live salsa, merengue, and bachata music performances by David Lucca y los Clasicos as well as Kelvi Jai y Don Moña y su orchesta. To add an international flare, there will be special performances by Mariachi Los Mensajeros and Fraternidad Bolivianos Unidos de Miami. To end the night, the event will feature an Hora Loca where guests will dance alongside a Brazilian Samba band.

Year after year, La Gran Fiesta highlights the various flavors and dishes that play an important part of Latin culture. Café Crème will offer $5 margaritas at their restaurant located on MOCA Plaza. The event will feature beer tasting areas powered by Epoca Brewing Company and Lost City Brewing Company. Mr. Frosty will be on site with tasty desserts and Macondo Coffee Roasters will provide complimentary coffee samples.

“We’re looking forward to a fun night filled with great music, people, food, and drinks. This event attracts a diverse audience which is what makes our city special” says Hispanic Heritage Committee Co-Chairperson Rosa Henriquez.
