North Miami, FL – November 18, 2021
The City of North Miami’s Building Department has launched a new portal for online permit services. The portal will allow users to apply and pay for permits online, upload digital plans, and complete contractor registration forms.
“We are bringing the City of North Miami up to speed with the 21st century with the implementation of this new portal. It’s important to inject new technology into our city. Our goal is to deliver a convenient and user-friendly online experience” said City Manager Theresa Therilus, Esq.
The new North Miami permitting portal offers residents, business owners, and contractors an easy-to-follow digital tool for all permit needs. Users may create an account or log in as a guest. Once the user enters the portal, the following list of categories provides additional information and resources to assist users during the permit process: Building Permit, Fence Permit, Roofing Permit, Driveway Permit, Windows/Doors Permit, Swimming Pool Permit, Plumbing Permit, Mechanical Permit, Electrical Permit, and Shop Drawings (used to submit architectural drawings). The portal also features options to search for a location within the City of North Miami, select a project type, answer questions, and receive guidance.
