South Florida Business & Wealth Magazine honors North Miami City Manager Theresa Therilus, Esq., with the 2021 Finance Award

North Miami City Manager Theresa Therilus, Esq., has been honored with the 2021 Finance Award in Government from the South Florida Business & Wealth Magazine. All of the 2021 honorees were recognized during a special virtual ceremony hosted by the magazine on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
The finance awards recognize South Florida’s most distinguished professionals in the financial industry. As South Florida becomes the country’s next financial capital, South Florida Business & Wealth Magazine awarded local experts for their accomplishments and dedication at the Finance Awards.

Ms. Theresa Therilus, Esq. is the first Haitian American City Manager for the City of North Miami. As a seasoned attorney, Ms. Therilus has been admitted to the Florida Bar, California Bar and the United States Supreme Court. She has served as a legal advisor for Miami-Dade County and is a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida in Consumer Protection and Economic Crimes. In her current role, Ms. Therilus oversees the daily operations of the City and ensures that the policies, directives, resolutions, and ordinances adopted by the City Council are implemented and enforced.
