City Attorney's Office

Duties

The overall goal of the City Attorney’s Office is to provide quality legal representation to the City Council, the City Manager and the various City departments, divisions, and boards, rendering sound legal advice based solely on the law applied to the facts, free from undue influence from any source.

The City Attorney is one of two charter employees who reports directly to the North Miami City Council. The City Attorney’s Office is a member of the North Miami executive team which makes things happen in the City. The office functions as a professional law firm of competent attorneys and support staff operating in an environment that allows for creative solutions to modern day problems.

Staffing

The staff of the office is comprised of three attorneys, a Legal Office Administrator, and a paralegal.
