Calendar of Reporting Dates for 2025 - 2026
Reports shall be filed on the 10th day following the end of a calendar quarter, except that, during the period from the last day for candidates qualifying until the general election, such reports shall be filed on the Friday immediately preceding each special primary election, special election, primary election, and general election. Note: The final day to accept campaign contributions for the November 3, 2026, General Election is October 29, 2026.
Consistent with the Division of Elections Formal Opinion 98-03 for municipal elections in which no municipal primary is held, the only applicable reporting dates other than monthly reports are those reports due on the 25th, 11th, and 4th day preceding the municipal general election.

Campaign Treasurer’s Reports: Each campaign treasurer designated by a candidate, Political Committee (PC), or Electioneering Communication Organization (ECO) shall file Campaign Treasurer’s Reports of all contributions received, and all expenditures made, by or on behalf of such candidate. Campaign Treasurer’s Reports shall be filed on or before the due dates listed above.
Campaign Treasurer's Reports must be filed with the City of North Miami City Clerk/ Supervisor of Elections through the City’s electronic filing system using the online reporting application. To access the application, you must first obtain a login ID and password from the Office of the City Clerk. In accordance with Florida Statute 106.07(8)(b), reports must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day designated and are subject to a fine if designated late. Failure to file a report on the specified due date shall subject the candidate to a fine of $50 per day for the first 3 days late and, thereafter, $500 per day for each late day; not to exceed 25% of the total receipts or expenditures, whichever is greater, for the period covered by the late report. All fines must be paid from the candidate's personal funds— NOT campaign funds.
The City Clerk will review reports for timeliness of filing. It is the Candidate's responsibility to ensure that the information contained in the report is accurate, correct, and in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
