Member information
The Board shall consist of five (5) members appointed at-large by the Mayor and Council. Each member shall be a resident of the City of North Miami or be affiliated with a business located within the City of North Miami. Members shall be appointed for two (2) year terms. In addition, representatives of Florida International University, Miami Dade College, Barry University, and Miami-Dade Public Schools for schools falling within the North Miami feeder pattern shall have membership on the Board. The City Manager shall designate administrative staff to act as representatives to the Board.
About the Board
The Education Relations Board was established by Resolution R-2022-55 on April 26, 2022. The Mayor and City Council created the Education Advisory Board to service the schools in the City of North Miami feeder pattern.
