The City of North Miami Mayor expresses his unwavering support and solidarity with the people of Israel in the wake of recent attacks. He condemns all acts of violence and stands with Israel during this challenging time.
The City of North Miami has a long history of fostering cultural diversity and promoting peace among all its residents. As a community that embraces people from various backgrounds and cultures, we understand the importance of unity and compassion during times of adversity.
The recent attacks on Israel have had a profound impact on the lives of its citizens. We extend our heartfelt condolences to those affected by these events and offer our support in any way possible. We believe in the importance of dialogue and peaceful solutions to resolve conflicts and encourage all parties involved to work towards a lasting peace.
North Miami Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed. D., states, "In the face of adversity, we must come together as a global community. We stand with the people of Israel in their pursuit of peace, security, and stability. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during these challenging times.”
Earlier this year, Mayor Desulme met with the Consul General of Israel of Miami, Manor
Elbaz-Starinsky, and other Jewish community leaders to begin fostering the ties between theCity of North Miami and the State of Israel on becoming Sister Cities in the near future. To
continue to show our support, the North Miami City Hall will display shining lights of theIsrael flag among the building.
