The NoMi Water Bill Assistance Program offers emergency assistance to eligible City of North Miami residents on a first-come, first-served basis, helping to cover past due utility payments (including water, sewer, stormwater, and/or sanitation) due to financial hardship. Emergency assistance funds are intended to help families resolve their situation after they have used their own resources.
Eligibility Criteria for Assistance:
- Must reside in the City of North Miami
- Must be two or more billing cycles behind on their average utility bill
- Must demonstrate financial hardship
Required Documents:
- Proof of economic hardship
- Valid picture identification
- Proof of residency in North Miami (does not apply to accounts outside the city)
Restrictions:
- This is a one-time payment per household, per North Miami address
