Road closures will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., along Griffing Boulevard, from NE 123rd Street to West Dixie Highway, to ensure the safety of all riders.

At the Griffing Community Center guests will enjoy music by DJ Lucky C and lawn games throughout the event. Guests will also have the opportunity to enter raffles to win free bicycles. Refreshments will be served before the ride. This will be the only bike ride hosted in December, making it a standout opportunity for cycling enthusiasts and the local community. The event will promote health, wellness, and community engagement through cycling and recreation.

“This event is an incredible opportunity to bring our community together with a focus on health and fitness while also fostering relationships with neighbors and local organizations,” said Vice Mayor Mary Estimé-Irvin.

Level Up Cycling Movement, Inc., a key partner in the event, is a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing the health benefits of cycling to minority communities. The organization also promotes and fundraises for benevolent causes, while creating a consistent pathway to the highest levels of professional cycling for young minority cyclists.
