Budget Department

The Budget Department prepares the annual operating and capital budgets for the City of North Miami. This process involves review and analysis of City departmental budget submissions, preparing year-end estimates and forecasting revenues and expenditures. The Budget Department staff also monitors expenditures and revenues and provides monthly reports to all City departments.

Distinguished Budget Presentation Award

Congratulations to the City of North Miami's Budget Department for receiving the Government Finance Officers Association's (GFOA) The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) presented the award of Distinguished Budget Presentation to the City of North Miami, Florida for its annual budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2023. This is the tenth consecutive year that the city of North Miami has earned this distinction.
