Philippe Bien-Aime, Mayor of North Miami, issued the following statement in reference to the City’s latest Emergency Order, which authorized the re-opening of North Miami gyms, fitness studios and other facilities.
“Tomorrow, the City of North Miami is furthering our progress toward re-opening the City’s local businesses. Effective at 12:01 a.m., on Monday, June 8, our North Miami banquet halls, gyms, fitness centers, summer camps, massage parlors and tattoo parlors may resume operations. With the safety of our community in mind, guidelines from the CDC and Florida Department of Health must continue being followed as it relates to social distancing and sanitization to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We acknowledge that there is still progress to be made in the re-opening process; but I assure you that the city of North Miami will continue doing our part to keep you well-informed in a timely fashion during each step.
