Why remove invasive plants?
Invasive plants overpower native plants for nutrients, light and moisture, which degrades wildlife habitats and changes soil hydrology. This displaces critical food chain components, especially for invertebrates in marshy areas.
A waiver must be signed to participate. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by and adult.
