Legacy Business Grant Application
Each Legacy business is allowed up to $5,000. The goal is to assist longstanding North Miami Businesses to alleviate job loss caused by business closures related to social distancing by providing short-term working capital assistance to small businesses to enable retention of jobs held by low- and moderate-income persons.
Regular Business Stabilization Grant
Each business is allowed to receive up to $1,000 in grant award. The goal is to assist North Miami Businesses by providing short-term working capital assistance to small businesses to enable retention of jobs held by low- and moderate-income persons to alleviate job loss caused by business closures related to Covid-19.
Smart Biz Micro Grant
Each business is allowed up to a $1,500 grant award. The goal for this program is to help small businesses expand their market reach by investing in greater hardware and software applications that will allow them to offer their goods and services to an e-commerce online customer base.

NoMi Rental Assistance Program (NRAP)

Emergency Mortgage Assistance ProgramThe City of North Miami is offering mortgage assistance for 6 months, up to $8,000 to all North Miami homeowners.
The program will last until all funds are depleted.
Mental Health Assistance ProgramFree Mental Health Services for North Miami Residents affected by COVID-19.
NoMi Food Pantry
Now operated by the City of North Miami, the NoMi Food Pantry provides fruits and vegetables, protein, dairy and shelf-stable items in addition to health and beauty items such as diapers and personal hygiene items.
NoMi Hot Meals Assistance
Nutritious daily meals to inbound residents, 62 years old and older, who are high-risk individuals, as defined by the CDC, unable to access meals while staying at home and are ineligible for other nutrition programs within the City of North Miami boundaries.
