Strokes for Success Golf Tournament to Benefit North Miami PAL
The Police Athletic Leagues of North Miami and Miami Beach invite you to participate in the effort to shape and inspire our youth into Powerful Active Leaders at our First Annual P.A.L Strokes for Success Golf Tournament on Friday, May 18, 2012. This fundraiser will raise awareness as well as the funds necessary to provide athletic, educational and cultural programs for the advancement of our young leaders in the greater Miami-Dade community. 

We hope you will join us in reaching our goal of raising $150,000 towards building the future North Miami Police Athletic League Training and Community Facility and to raise funds to enhance the PAL programs within the City of Miami Beach.  All participants will enjoy a day of golfing and networking, followed by an exclusive awards dinner, all for a great charitable cause.

The Police Athletic League of North Miami (PAL of NM) is a non-profit organization committed todeveloping the partnership between parents, schools and the police to cultivate "Powerful Active Leaders" amongst our community's youth. PAL of NM provides mentorship, leadership and scholarships for sports programs.

OUR MISSION:

North Miami PAL (Police Athletic League) was founded for the the following purposes:

To provide a means and method for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and information regarding youth problems, their causes and treatment and to create methods and procedures necessary to develop a constructive program with the goal of helping to solve youth problems.

To coordinate programs and activities which contribute to the development of character, integrity, physical and mental fitness and the attainment of discipline, self- esteem and positive moral values.

To foster better relations through communication between Law Enforcement Officers and the youth of our community.

To reduce youth crime, violence, alcohol and drug abuse by providing postivie role models, and through positive interaction.
