North Miami, FL – 11/10/2017

The City of North Miami invites residents to share their visions for the City’s future growth, development and overall livability at two Public Input sessions focused on the City’s proposed General Obligation (GO) Bond. The purpose of each session is to gather ideas from constituents before action is taken by the Mayor and City Council to place this matter on North Miami ballots.

Session 1 is scheduled for 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15 at North Miami’s Gwen Margolis Community Center, located at 1590 NE 123rd Street.

Session 2 will take place at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 21 in the Joe Celestin Center Community Room, located at 1525 NW 135th Street, North Miami.

City of North Miami Administration proposes the multi-million dollar GO Bond referendum to finance the acquisition, construction, renovation and improvement of various capital improvement projects, payable through the full faith credit and ad valorem taxing power of the City. The proposed improvement projects would impact affordable housing options, community policing, infrastructure, parks and recreation, public facilities, sustainability, technology and transportation.
