Community Planning and Development - Action Plan Advisory Committee (DAPAC)

What is DAPAC?

In the fall of 2014, the North Miami City Council approved the adoption of the Downtown Action Plan and the Downtown Concept Plan. These two plans outlined funding and implementation strategies, as well as architectural concepts, for public and private space improvements to spur redevelopment within the downtown.

The Downtown Action Plan Advisory Committee, or DAPAC, is a group of key community stakeholders with representation from the city’s local arts/culture community, education sector, film industry and business community as specified in Section 2-402(a)(2) of the City’s Land Development Regulations. DAPAC is tasked with implementing the Downtown Action Plan and the Downtown Concept Plan through expert input, advocacy of City officials and staff, and activation of projects.
