Griffing Adult Center offers various social activities and recreation
classes for adults ages 18 & over throughout the year. The Centers
activities include health and wellness programs, a quilting and garden club, trips, parties, bingo and card games,
special holiday events and shuffleboard. Classes are offerred in decorative art, jewelry/beading and yarncrafts. To participate
in certain programs, you must be a member of Griffing Center. Memberships

Teen and Youth Programs: 3:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
For youth ages 14 - 18 years old. Teens can join our Teens In Action Program, become volunteers, and earn their community service hours for graduation requirements. They will gain life skills through the different workshops, activities and projects. Meetings are held every Friday at 4 p.m. For information call Shacora at 305.893.3771.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Open nights and weekends for scheduled programs only. Center is
closed on federal holidays. Please call for monthly schedule of
events.
Penny Sugarman Tennis Center at Sans Souci - 1795 Sans Souci Blvd.
Penny Sugarman Tennis Center at Sans Souci has a wide variety of tennis services and
programs. These activities include tennis instruction for all levels,
free clinics, adult and junior leagues and tournaments, after school
tennis programs and much more. For more information please call

fees and memberships.
Facility Rentals
Fees apply to rental dates from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010. All facilities are rented on a first come-first serve basis and must be reserved at least 30 days in advance, also proof of residency is required - North Miami utility bill or FPL bill. Rental Availability: Sunday through Saturday except Wednesday for an 8 hour block with additional set up a decorating time from 9 AM to 12 noon. Two police officers required for rentals past 11 PM at additional cost of $90 per officer.
*Amenities: 30 - 60" round tables, 7 - 8 ft rectangular tables, 2 - 6 ft rectangular tables and 200 chairs. Kitchen, central A/C, ice machine and stage risers available.
