The Urban Artists of Port-au-Prince, brings together the work of over 20 artists working in the Haitian capital. On view May 1 to August 11, 2019, the exhibition highlights Port-au-Prince’s many diverse centers of cultural production, informal street life, religious heritage and mythologies to create a compelling portrait of a historically significant and intensely complex city in flux.

Museum Hours: Monday: closed , Tuesday - Friday: 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Saturday - Sunday: 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Get in Gear Community Monthly Bike Ride

Rides take place on the second Saturday of the month

MOCA Plaza, 770 NE 125 Street, North Miami

Registration: 8:00 a.m.
Departure: 8:30 a.m.
Start/End: MOCA Plaza
Length of the Ride: Round Trip approximately 10 miles

Commit yourself to a healthier lifestyle by participating in this 10 mile ride through North Miami! The ride is safe (where else do you get a police escort?), it’s easy (stops are made during the ride for water and restroom breaks) and it’s fun (bring your friends!).

Our mission is to encourage a healthier lifestyle through exercise and more nutritional diets.

Bring your own bike. Helmets are required for all participants ages 16 and under and encouraged for all participants.

The North Miami Memory Project - A Historical Exhibit and Program Series

The Greater North Miami Historical Society, Florida International University Libraries, and the North Miami Public Library invite you to enjoy this interactive exhibit of framed photographs from the 1940s-1960s and oral histories of North Miamians from the StoryCorps project.

Learn what it was to live in the City of North Miami from the very early days to the 1980s.
